Welcome Back, Welcome Back, Welcome Ba-a-ack!

Hello! It has been so long since I have blogged and I have not crafted in SO long.  But now that the dust has settled I am back.  I will be changing my blog to be less crafty and more Life/Business/Ministry/Travel.  I am very excited about this new season and I hope you will enjoy it with me.

This past weekend I was needing a red accessory and I didn't have one so I just made it!  I used a lining type fabric, a button and a little needle & thread!  Tada!  Lots of fun and super easy to make.

making a bobbin video & trying to knit video

So This Is What It's Like

So this is what it's like being a craft addict.  Yesterday I spent the afternoon at Hobby Lobby looking at craft things and then got home and started cutting up old t-shirts to make more crafts.  Then I called all over the city to find a new book, P.S.- I Made This... by Erica Domesek.  It is a very inspirational book with great ideas for this beginner how-to girl!
Today I knitted for the first time with my friend Sue.  Warning- This Is NOT An Easy Craft!  The attempt was quite amusing but not easy.  She sent me home with knitting needles, I guess that means I have a bit of homework to do.
This is officially day three me being a crafter and I got an email from my friend Daphne about doing a craft fair!  I have 2 months to figure out what I am best at and mass produce it!  Very exciting news!
Below are some pictures of things I made yesterday and today, Enjoy!

A 2 4 1 Night!

So I started out this evening hoping to finish one project and God, being the wonderful God that He is, allowed me to do two!  Being a beginner craftswoman, I have been inspired by amazing bloggers.  So I did my variation of a Ribbon & Pearls bracelet and ear warmer with rosettes.  By no means do I think that I'm a pro but I am excited that I finished.   Below are some pictures and video of the process.

Craft #1: Ribbon & Pearls
This craft took me 45mins and a little help from my mom.  If/when I do this again I'll use different thread and ribbon.  It was a great first try.
Here are my supplies!

I added some ribbon and made a necklace

Craft #2: Head Warmer w/ Rosettes
This one took a-lotta-bit of time, 3.5hrs.  But it was worth it, I will defiantly be making this again!
